BREAKING NEWS: Gerald Anderson has just admitted to the members of the press that he broke up with girlfriend of two and a half years, Maja Salvador.
During the press conference for ABS-CBN’s newest teleserye “Nathaniel” which was held at the 14th floor of ELJ Building in ABS-CBN on Tuesday night, April 14, the show’s lead actor Gerald Anderson confirmed the rumors that he and Salvador have broken up.
“We are taking a break sa relationship. All we ask is to respect our privacy,” the actor said.
“This is difficult for the two of us but Maja and I are on good terms,” he added.
The speculations about the breakup of the two started when Gerald was seen spending the Holy Week vacation in Subic, Zambales, with his friends Rayver Cruz and Fred Payawan while Maja spent hers in Bali, Indonesia, with friends Thou Reyes and Cacai Bautista. The two are usually “inseparable” in their free time.
It was early 2013 when Gerald Anderson admitted that he and Maja Salvador are in a relationship which caused a strain to the friendship of the latter with Kim Chiu, the ex-girlfriend of the former.
